who's that girl
Check out this post. For some reason I put it on our flat blog rather than here. I didnt write it but I posted it, hehee. But a good one. So, here you are! : "without me you can do nothing" . One thing im excited about is that I found this lecture course, "The Challenges for Development in ASIA" that runs from middle of May to middle of June. Its in Helsinki so will require some travelling from my part but Im hoping Id be able to arrange it all and to attend! It sounds really interesting. The topics include Development Cooperation, Democracy and Human Rights, Sustainable Development, Humanitarian Aid, Cultural Relations among others. And what does the first class handle? No other than CAMBODIA! :)
Ohh and here's me with Johanna before she headed to Toronto. PRE-haircut.

Now
Now is the time for us to shine,
Shine with the face of Christ divine.
No compromise, for all heaven cries,
Now is the time.
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus, king of lights,
Jesus, Jesus, raise a church that’s shining bright.

Unity
Aristides, a second-century apologist for the christian faith wrote to the Roman EmperorHadrian about believers in his day:
"They love one another. They never fail to help widows; they save orphans from those who would hurt them.If they have something, they give freely to the man who has nothing; if they see a stranger, they take him home, and are happy, as though he were a real brother. They dont consider themselves brothers in the usual sense, but brothers instead thru the Spirit, in God."
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
Ephesians 4:2-3

The way to victory
"Deborah's uncompromising dedication moved the very heart of God... and He changed the very heart of Deborah. She spent SO much time in the temple in prayer and worship that she was “dripping with oil”. Because of that, she could hear the Lord's voice clearly, operate with keen discernment for the times and seasons she faced as well as her daily decisions with the people, and when the call to battle came, she was absolutely ready! Deborah was being prepared for battle in the secret place. This is where the true victory lies : in communing with Him one-on-one"

Enjoying Everyday Life
:)
I so enjoy listening to Joyce Meyer's teaching. I love it. She makes me laugh ;) She is sooooooooo funny. Love it! My international women's day started yesterday. New hair cut! Cut off something like 20 cm if not even more... I look SOOOOO different! Felt like something new. Wanted a change in my life. Thought hair was not such a bad place to start ;) Though it kind of just happened, unplanned. lol. But I'm happy-yyy!!! I'll try and put some photos up later on sometime.
But yes, nice wee surprises yesterday and today. It was nice to chat with Ella yesterday (her call really cheered me up!..btw, she's the one who did my hair as well) and to run into Anneli on my way home. And my mum blessed me financially a bit ........ All niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice surprises :) ...Can anybody tell that I love a life full of surprises?
